The Raggy Dolls
Mark Mason directed and animated 65 episodes of the cult TV series between 1988 and 1991, written by Neil Innes who also wrote the song. 13 episodes of Raggy Dolls had already been produced for Yorkshire Television.
Mark Mason headed the production team at Orchid Productions, refining the characters and producing storyboards, layouts, animation direction, key animation and production supervision through ink & paint, shoot and final edit for all 65 episodes. There was no Director's credit on the closing titles because it was thought by the producers that Mark Mason was too junior at the time to receive one.
